Yuriy Soshnikov: Finalist Organic NZ Leader of the Year 2024
The Organic NZ Leader of the Year award celebrates those who have gone above and beyond to build, support and promote organics in Aotearoa throughout the years.
It’s presented to an organics champion who has inspired others by their work and commitment to the organic movement and industry within their own work and in the wider community.
Judges take into account practices such as packaging practices, sustainable energy and resource use, advocacy for organics and other certifications, e.g. living wage and carbon zero.
Yuriy Soshnikov, MD of TranzAlpine Organics, was nominated as a finalist alongside two other iconic organic leaders, Cleo Te Kiri, Head of Pāmu Central North Island organic dairy group and Dr Charles Merfield (Merf) the Head of Future Farming Centre at the BHU (Biological Husbandry Unit Organics Trust.
Yuriy and the team at TranzAlpine Organics extend huge congratulations to the award winner for Organic Leader of the Year, Dr Charles Merfield, on his well-deserved win. It was an honour to be nominated alongside two other great New Zealand organic leaders.
