2024 Winner of The Exporter of the Year

TranzAlpine Honey is honoured to have won first place at the prestigious Organic NZ Awards as Exporter of the Year 2024.

This award celebrates the exporters who take the organic produce of Aotearoa to the world. It’s presented to an exporter who demonstrates how they are actively building and contributing to the reputation of our country’s organic brand and industry.

Judges take into account practices such as packaging, sustainable energy and resource use, advocacy for organics and other certifications, e.g. living wage and carbon zero.

2024 Organic Leader of the Year Finalist

MD of TranzAlpine Organics, Yuriy Soshnikov, was nominated as a finalist for the Organic Leader of the Year 2024, alongside two other iconic organic leaders, Cleo Te Kiri, Head of Pāmu Central North Island organic dairy group and Dr Charles Merfield (Merf) the Head of Future Farming Centre at the BHU (Biological Husbandry Unit Organics Trust.

TranzAlpine Honey is honoured to have won Organic Brand of the Year 2023.

This accolade is deeply special to us as it coincides with our 30th anniversary of being certified organic with BioGro™ NZ.

This award recognises a company, brand or product line with organic certification and/or Hua Parakore verification that is independently owned and based in Aotearoa. It is open to successful organic brands who are leading the way to mitigate climate change and build a just society in harmony with nature and the planet.

As 5th-generation beekeepers, we are a small team that continues to produce honey with simple, traditional beekeeping practices.

We take our responsibility to care for our environment and respect the bees as seriously as we did when we started beekeeping over 100 years ago.

We are proud to continue to produce our honey with the utmost care and attention to the bees and the land - sustainably and naturally organic.

The Inspire+ NZ Artisan Awards is the biggest competition for artisanal producers in New Zealand.
