Protect the Bees and Boost Biodiversity

We knew early on that the commitment to nurturing the environment for our bees would be a lifelong dedication.

When you buy any TranzAlpine Honey product, you get complete peace of mind knowing that you are playing your part in protecting the bees and natural pollinators so that we may all live in harmony for generations to come.

There are just nine out of 6735 registered honey producers in New Zealand that are certified organic and we are one of them.

As New Zealand’s largest organic honey producer and exporter, we take our responsibility as seriously as we did when we started beekeeping over 100 years ago.

Our traditional simple beekeeping practices are still very much at the core of everything we do.

We are very proud of our values and commitment to delivering a 100% certified organic product that didn’t come at the expense of our natural pollinators or the carefully nurtured ecosystem they call home.

SUSTAINABLE AND NATURALLY SAFE ORGANIC HONEY

When you buy TranzAlpine Honey, you know exactly where every single drop comes from.

Despite climate change, COVID interruptions and environmental challenges, we continue to grow from strength to strength through the consistent methods of sustainable, eco-friendly organic farming practices.

Traditional, simple practices of beekeeping are still very much part of what we do. While technology certainly aids in making processes faster and more efficient, a lot of what we do is still done the way it has always been  - without pesticides, chemicals or feeding antibiotics to our bees.

TranzAlpine Honey is one of the first honey companies in New Zealand to phase out standard PET jars and replace them with 100% recycled PET (rPET) jars.

When you buy a TranzAlpine Honey product you are helping to reduce the amount of PET containers that end up in landfill across the globe.
