TranzAlpineHoney New Zealand

When you purchase products from TranzAlpine Organics Limited t/a TranzAlpineHoney (“TranzAlpineHoney”, “we”, “us”, “our”) or use this Website, the purchaser (the “customer”, “you”, “your”) agree to the following terms and conditions of the sale (“Terms of Trade”, “Terms”). If you are ordering our products on behalf of another party, you represent and warrant that you are entitled to bind that party and you have its authority.

These Terms of Trade govern the supply of our products to you that you order via the TranzAlpineHoney Website at www.tranzalpinehoney.co.nz, and any websites or applications operated by us.

Your Account

To purchase any Product from our Website or to open an account with us, you will be required to provide us with certain Personal Information, including your name, address, contact details, and payment information. You agree that all information you provide to us at any time will be accurate, up to date, and complete.

You agree to accept all responsibility for all activities that occur under your account or password. If you believe that someone has accessed your account without your permission, you must tell us immediately and you must then log into your account and change your password.

Availability and Ordering of Products

All orders are subject to availability. If for any reason the Product you have ordered is not available, we will contact you using the details you have provided when ordering the product to arrange a refund or replacement item.

In the event that we make a change in your order or cancel an order, we may attempt to notify you by contacting you via the details you provided while making the order. We reserve the right to limit or prohibit an order that we believe to be placed by dealers, resellers or distributors.

By clicking to confirm an order to buy a product from us via the Website, you acknowledge that you are offering to purchase a product from us. We will be deemed to have accepted your offer where acceptance is confirmed in an email or other message or by the dispatch of the Product to the last delivery address advised by you in your order.


All of our Product prices are in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) excluding delivery charges, and are in not inclusive of GST, VAT and other sales taxes (unless otherwise stated) which will be added if applicable at the point of checkout or payment. You are responsible for any duties, levies or other charges associated with importing the Product into the country of delivery. Any information about exchange rates from us is approximate only and may vary from time to time and should not be relied on by you.

Prices of the product will be correct at the time of publishing and at the time of purchase, in the absence of manifest error. We reserve the right to alter the prices at any time. It is your responsibility to check and stay up to date with price changes of the Products at the time you make the offer.

An invoice will be emailed to you at the email address you supply when you make your order. You are responsible for making sure your contact details are correct.

When you purchase a Product, you must pay the full price for that Product before it is shipped, unless otherwise agreed upon with us.

Payments are handled via a third-party. Therefore you agree that we may share your personal information with that agent or service provider to the extent necessary to process that payment transaction.


Once you have placed an order with us, we will deliver that Product to you via the delivery option you selected when you completed the order. It is your responsibility to make sure that your delivery details are correct. We will not be responsible for any incorrect information provided by you and you will be responsible for the cost of resending a returned parcel that is returned due to an incorrect address. If a product is found to be incorrectly addressed by us, then we will be responsible for the re-delivery, replacement or refunding of the product.

Some countries have special regulations around the importing of honey and bee products. You acknowledge that you are responsible for reviewing the contents of your order and acknowledge that it contains acceptable and approved items for import into the country of destination. You accept full responsibility and any associated risk of any items or packages (or part thereof) being detained by customs for whatever reason. You acknowledge and agree that we are not liable for orders unable to be delivered to their destination due to import regulations.

Refund, Cancellations and Returns

If we have made a mistake with your order, we will send out a replacement along with a post-bag for return of the incorrect product, provided that the product is unopened. We will not provide a refund if you have changed your mind about a purchase, so please choose carefully. If the Products are faulty, we will meet our obligations under the Consumer Guarantees Act to provide a remedy.

Orders can not be refunded if loyalty points were used for the original purchase.

You are not permitted to cancel any order once the Product has been shipped except to the extent permitted by applicable law.


Risk in all Products you order will pass to you upon delivery of the Products to you.

Liability – Consumer Protection

If you purchase Products from us for a business purpose, you agree that the statutory guarantees and implied terms, covenants and conditions contained in the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or equivalent consumer protection legislation are excluded and do not apply.

Where the provisions of the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or any mandatory legislation in your jurisdiction that cannot legally be excluded applies, these terms will be read subject to the application of that legislation, and in case of any conflict, the provisions of that legislation will apply.


We reserve the right to change these Terms of Trade from time to time without notifying you. The current and binding Terms that apply to the purchase of Products will be the version displayed on the Website at the time you place your order.

TranzAlpineHoney has provided some information on this Website for the benefit of users in good faith and with reasonable care. However, errors and omissions in this Website and the information on it may occur from time to time and TranzAlpineHoney does not guarantee that the Website will always operate or be error free.

We will not be liable to you for any breach or failure to perform, any of its obligations under these Terms of Trade where our breach of failure is caused by anything beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • war
  • civil commotion
  • hostility
  • act of terrorism
  • strike
  • lockout
  • other industrial act
  • weather phenomena, and
  • governmental regulation or direction.


These Terms of Trade, and any disputes arising from or relating to the conduct covered by the Terms, are governed by the laws of New Zealand. You hereby submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New Zealand.
