Manuka honey is a unique New Zealand honey, well known for its exceptional benefits. Our Manuka honey is an ORGANIC made from the nectar of Leptospermum Scoparium - the New Zealand Manuka flower. Professor Thomas Henle at the Technical University of Dresden in Germany set out to isolate exactly what it was in Manuka honey that produces this
beneficial effect. His studies identified a compound, Methylglyoxal (MG), as having a direct correlation
to the unique properties of Manuka honey. It has also been officially recognized by New Zealand Ministry of Primary Industry (MPI) that presence of Methylglyoxal (MG) as well as
correct count of Manuka pollen, colour and flavour stands out pure New Zealand Manuka honey. After we collect our Manuka Honey, it is independently tested by Independent IANZ accredited Laboratory with results being available upon request.
